Protection of inventions

Outstanding research achievements and the resulting knowledge are essential resources of our research organisation. Our research institute combines high-quality research with optimized patent protection to make our innovations visible to the public.

Bundling of rights

A wide range of requirements for patent applications and subsequent commercialisation require the bundling of rights to an invention. RLP AgroScience GmbH pursues this bundling in a targeted manner in order to optimise its property rights and exploitation strategy.

Involvement of students and scholarship holders

Students, scholarship recipients, visiting scientists, and other participants who are not under contract with RLP AgroScience GmbH are considered independent inventors. RLP AgroScience GmbH aims to engage these independent inventors and provide them with the same support and conditions as its own inventors.

Assumption of costs

RLP AgroScience GmbH and its partners cover the expenses for patenting and commercialization processes. Our main goal is to continuously expand our patent portfolio by patenting the results of our research work. This motivates all members of RLP AgroScience GmbH, resulting in continuous mobilization and increased potential for innovation.
